On 23-24th November, 2017 a symposium titled “Education for the Common Good” was jointly organized by the Macau Ricci Institute and the University of Saint Joseph (Macau), with the assistance of Hong Kong Rothlin Ltd. The symposium facilitated discussion about research concerning education and its relationship with the common good. Presentations during the symposium mapped a range of educational experiments seeking to cultivate the common good, and evaluated them for the soundness of their understanding of the subject and the effectiveness of their approach. The symposium served as a platform for the sharing and exchanging of ideas among international scholars and researchers.
